What I'm Using : NutriMost

6 comments :

On the NutriMost diet, you are not allowed to put any oils into your body. This also goes for ON your body. I thought I would share what products I have been using lately that have worked for me on this diet.

For shampoo I have been switching between using both the Pantene Aqua Light Shampoo and the Biosilk Silk Therapy Shampoo, both of which I really enjoy and help my thin hair feel not as weighed down and may continue using after the program. For conditioner I use the Pantene Aqua Light Conditioner, which I, again, really enjoy.

For soap, I use Ivory bar soap, which makes my skin feel a tad dry, but I have dry skin to begin with, so it is expected (I forgot to picture it with the others because the bar I am currently using is in the shower so it gets it's own picture). For face cleanser I use the Harmon Face Values version of Cetaphil in Gentle Skin Cleanser. For makeup remover I use Almay Oil Free Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads. No lotions are really allowed except oil free so I use Harmon Face Values version of Neutrogena Oil-free Moisturizing Lotion SPF 15 as face moisturizer and Coppertone Oil Free Sunscreen Lotion.
For toothpaste, I have been using Tom's Simply White Fluoride Toothpaste Clean Mint, and loving it! It doesn't leave any residues in your mouth and tastes really nice. As for deodorant I use Crystal Body Deodorant Stick, it's literally a natural mineral salt crystal that you have to wet to use and can last up to a year of daily use!
Now on to makeup, for foundation, Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Loose Powder in Buff Beige. For blush, Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Blush in Rosy Glow. I use my Real Techniques Multitasking Brush to apply both, I cleaned it well with the Pantene shampoo before using (excuse the dirty brush it obviously needs to be cleaned again). They both work well, and it is easier as I have fairly clear skin, it is a nice break for the summer for my skin to breathe free of liquid foundations. For mascara, you are allowed to use any, and I use my favorite at the moment, Prestige Cosmetics Total Intensity Beyond Lashes Dramatic Precision Mascara in Jet Black.

I hope this is helpful if you are starting the program, or looking for some good oil-free, natural product alternatives to use daily!
Today is day 19 and I have lost 14.6 pounds!

  1. Woops my first comment didn't post. I am so happy I found your blog and thx for posting items to use. I'm still having the hardest time finding a good oil-free lipstick/gloss/stain. Have you had any luck? PS congrats on your awesome weightloss! I can't wait to see some big losses too- only on day 3 (but feels like day 2 bc day 1 was too easy). Haha :) Oh and I was thinking of blogging about it too but I suck at being consistent- sooo...I'm on instagram with my boyfriend and my mom who are doing it- if you are on there follow me @NutrimostCouple :) xox, V

    1. In the book it said that the covergirl lipsticks were okay to use but I haven't really been using it very much which is strange for me! Good luck!! I am now on the reset phase and lost a total of 22.3 pounds!

    2. Max Factor pan stick ultra creamy lipstick and L'Oreal endless lipcolour were on my list of lipsticks to use in addition to Cover Girl Outlast lipcolor. I'm on Day 1 - loading in - I really appreciate your list of things to use, especially the mascara, which I wear more than any other form of makeup.
