What I'm Using : NutriMost

6 comments :

On the NutriMost diet, you are not allowed to put any oils into your body. This also goes for ON your body. I thought I would share what products I have been using lately that have worked for me on this diet.

For shampoo I have been switching between using both the Pantene Aqua Light Shampoo and the Biosilk Silk Therapy Shampoo, both of which I really enjoy and help my thin hair feel not as weighed down and may continue using after the program. For conditioner I use the Pantene Aqua Light Conditioner, which I, again, really enjoy.

For soap, I use Ivory bar soap, which makes my skin feel a tad dry, but I have dry skin to begin with, so it is expected (I forgot to picture it with the others because the bar I am currently using is in the shower so it gets it's own picture). For face cleanser I use the Harmon Face Values version of Cetaphil in Gentle Skin Cleanser. For makeup remover I use Almay Oil Free Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads. No lotions are really allowed except oil free so I use Harmon Face Values version of Neutrogena Oil-free Moisturizing Lotion SPF 15 as face moisturizer and Coppertone Oil Free Sunscreen Lotion.
For toothpaste, I have been using Tom's Simply White Fluoride Toothpaste Clean Mint, and loving it! It doesn't leave any residues in your mouth and tastes really nice. As for deodorant I use Crystal Body Deodorant Stick, it's literally a natural mineral salt crystal that you have to wet to use and can last up to a year of daily use!
Now on to makeup, for foundation, Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Loose Powder in Buff Beige. For blush, Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Blush in Rosy Glow. I use my Real Techniques Multitasking Brush to apply both, I cleaned it well with the Pantene shampoo before using (excuse the dirty brush it obviously needs to be cleaned again). They both work well, and it is easier as I have fairly clear skin, it is a nice break for the summer for my skin to breathe free of liquid foundations. For mascara, you are allowed to use any, and I use my favorite at the moment, Prestige Cosmetics Total Intensity Beyond Lashes Dramatic Precision Mascara in Jet Black.

I hope this is helpful if you are starting the program, or looking for some good oil-free, natural product alternatives to use daily!
Today is day 19 and I have lost 14.6 pounds!

Makeup Storage

No comments :

Recently I have updated my makeup storage as my collection has outgrown the previous makeup bag/storage container that I was using. I cleaned out my whole room and realized I had extra space in my dresser to store my makeup and voilĂ ! Here it is! Obviously I have a few too many lipsticks and I may need help. But for now this works for the next 3 months that I live here until I go away to school. Have a lovely day!

Hello!

No comments :
Hi! My name is Lauren and well, I have decided to start a blog! (And possibly a youtube channel..)Ultimately this is a way for me to further procrastinate my school work and other things I should be doing. This blog will probably be a beauty and lifestyle blog along with some personal things.

Recently I have been hearing back from colleges I have been applying to, and recieved this with one of my acceptances:

Personally, I think this is the best way to get a student's attention, actually recognizing them as a person and not just a name on a piece of paper and a bunch of numbers. Also, I was very unsure of my essay topic because people I talked to were writing about deaths or some major life event that impacted their life in some way. Honestly, yes, I have had people extremely close to me pass away, but it was when I was very young and while it has effected both my family and I, I did not feel as though I could write about it for a college admissions essay and feel confident that it reflected who I am. That is why I wrote about my self exploration and expression through the internet.

Well, if you read this, thank you, and I hope you will visit my blog often because I would like to try to update twice a week (I'll try!). My next post will probably be beauty and clothes favorites of this winter! (: x -Lauren
